My Wedding Day
It's been 3 years this month since Ryan & I got married so I thought i'd share our day with you. We got married at Didsbury House Hotel. It was and is still the perfect venue. It's a Victorian Villa that has all the period charm you could hope for but it also has the modern element I wanted in an elegant way. The ceiling roses, coving and roll top baths - what more could I have wanted?
The girls got ready at Eleven Didsbury Park, a sister hotel a few doors away. It was perfect! We had a massive duplexed room with full length doors that opened onto the beautiful sunny garden and a terrace upstairs.
My Hair was done by the amazing Charlotte Medford Hair Design and my Make up by Alexandra Clare Make-Up Artist.
The flowers were by the Sian at The Flower Lounge. No one surprised me like she did. She made what was in my head real and it even pleased my mum... which if you know her that's no easy feat. My mum is the best but she definitely has an Emily Gilmore streak.
Photography was by the larger than life Andrea Ellison Photography.
My cake was by the talented Marie Antionette Cake Design. I didn't actually create my own invitations as I really wanted a watercolour design by Jolly Edition. I had my heart set on an illustration of the two of us which I used through to my Day of items. I used the design to create the Order of Services with their permission.
The boys suits were by Ted Baker. My dress was by Gino Cerrutti. Sash by Sash & Co. Bridesmaids were in Dessy.
My Dad: 'From My Nest To Yours'
Although it made me laugh and create the cute moment below I have some advice. Make sure your future husband knows you will have taken off or moved your engagement ring ready for the ceremony or he will put the wedding ring on the wrong hand!
The below is the kind of photo Andrea Ellison creates....Who wants boring line ups anyway?
The Wedding Breakfast look was so important to me. My flowers were brimimng with Hydrangeas, Bombastic Roses and David Austin Roses. I wish you could smell the room. It was just perfect. The menus I again adapted from the invites and the favours were also by Rachel at Marie Antionette.
