I am writing this quite a long time after this shoot was shared and featured on the amazing Rock My Wedding. I have worked on a lot of shoots and as great as they can be sometimes you just want to branch out and do something that says exactly who you are. I wanted to create something that was modern and timeless but also still romantic. I found this beautiful little corner at a just as amazing venue tucked away in a beautiful part of Wales.

When I found the perfect venue I knew the suppliers I needed to make it happen. These suppliers bring it every time and I wish I could create magic like this with them every day! I hope you love it and find some inspiration for you own big day if not the perfect suppliers.

Garthmyl Hall is a beautiful house and anyone would be lucky to get married here. It covers all of the bases wether you want a more grand and period feel or something more simple and modern. Not only is it a beautiful place but the staff too are lovely and very accommodating.

Our gorgeous models Sharon Andrea and Lorna Davis wore beautiful dresses from The White Closet in Didsbury. From Rosa Clara, Charlie Brear and Halfpenny separates.

They also dripped in diamonds from Wongs who are an amazing family business in Liverpool.

Headpieces hand made by Sixpennybride. The right gold headpiece is from Charlotte Medford’s Capsule Collection.

Charlotte created effortless bridal hair looks that would be perfect for the modern bride along side my friend and amazingly talented Michelle Bahan MUA.

The flowers for this shoot were one of the most important elements. I personally think that flowers always tie everything together and add texture and colour. The two looks Sian and her team from The Flower Lounge created were breathtaking. Whether you like the light and romantic look or prefer it dark and moody you can see how both looks can change the look of your wedding. Plus who can take their eyes away from that statement pice above the table!?

I decided to style the shoot myself to make sure everything tied together and along with the beautiful elements from Silk and Purl and The Flower Lounge everything just turned out perfectly. The tapered candles are from Ester & Erik. The Favours and Cake were by Sarah from Pink Cocoa who just creates beautiful treats.

For the stationery I wanted to show you could do pink in a stylish way and adding wax seals and silk ribbon were the perfect touches to do just that.

To add one last pop of magic I asked The Word is Love to provide some lighting ideas to make it extra special. Their lights can move you seamlessly from day to party.
